Keyboard Synthesizers?

Can someone bequeath me some insight into the world of keyboard synthesizers? As surrounded by, what to look for in a synth? What make a good one, what brands are overpriced etc?



I've be playing piano for 10 years now, only just played Chopin Scherzo 2 Op. 31. After hearing Dream Theater and Jordan Rudess, I wonna draw from into the keyboard world and you know, diversify. Currently looking to buy a keyboard/synth. And I dont know anything. Some suggestions possibly? Looking for about $1000ish-1300

hold you ever thought about using your workstation to use as a piano + synth etc? depends on your pc..



I guess you would what a fully weighted 88 switch keyboard + sustain pedal.

is a specific piano module for root, featuring 3 distinguished pianos that i could never afford to buy, but I can the software versions , which are a fraction of the cost.

which you can use on its own, no additional software.



if you want synths etc , rationale is amazing for that.



as for the keyboard, i use a semi weighted m audio axiom, but you can draw from others. might be an idea to thieve a visit to a local pro audio shop =)
