i enjoy a SONY DVD RW DRU-830A on my PC. i just bought it within december and i don't wanna have to buy a contemporary one. The burner seems to be working right, but the drive no longer read cds, wut can i do inorder for it to work again...
My DVD drive is not functioning correctly, relief?
Test the drive with a run of the mill, factory produced CD, close to an audoo one, if it doesn't read, try a CD lens cleaner.
If that doesn't work, lug it back to where on earth you bought it, it should be covered with 1yr warranty . . . I assume you DID keep hold of the receipt for it . . .
Make sure your compact disc compartment is clean and your compact disc is clean and not worn out. Sometimes that is adjectives it takes. Also, try to run a scan disk; a simple error can variety components act crazy and not want to work properly.
un-install, re-install. If still bleak take it rear legs.
