Monitor choice for 8800GTS 320MB?

Yes, I said 320 mb not 640 mb. For the Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 320 MB, I enjoy a choice between these two monitors:



19 1440x900



and



22 1680x1050



(both are same price)



I've heard that the 320 mb doesn't step well next to higher resolutions but I don't know the consideration. I am planning to play Doom 3, Half-Life 2, Age of Empires 3, CSS, Call of Duty 2, and all those dignified quality games. I want to run on full standard with high-ranking frame rates.

Can the 8800 GTS 320 MB handle full characteristic with great frame rates on the 22?

other get the superior resolution. if the graphics card cant take it later just lower the resolution by right clicking on the desktop consequently properties then settings.
