My Hard drive doesn't hold a bottom?

On the underside, a circuit board is marked. there are also holes where on earth it looks like some sort of cover should go-is this what it's supposed to be similar to?

My Hard drive doesn't hold a bottom?

Yep, the screw holes are for fixing it to different types of cradle.

If it is covered, the steam generated by the HD motor will not

dissipate.
yep, that's beyond doubt normal.

DON'T touch the exposed circuitry, it will wipe out the drive.
Looks ok to me.
Yes, that's exactly what its supposed to look like. Also, kind sure that it isn't positioned with that underside pressing up against the metal of the satchel... I've had problems go down.
some hard drives come approaching this richy, however you can buy covers that go over drives to protect them, ask at your local p.c shop

ive have a few drives were you can see the bottom of the drive, only make sure you dont touch any segment of it,just place it within your p.c as soon as possible

some hard drives come near a plate on the bottom, but what you may find is the hard drive you own has probally come out of a pre built p.c such as a dell p.c,as when these are built they are built beside the manufacturer not expecting the consumer to initiate the p.c

again ,just take heed you dont touch any printed circuit boards.

good luck mate!
Your intricate drive may not be wearing any panties but that definitely is its bottom.
