Is the Intel Pentium Processor Extreme Edition compatible beside the Intel Desktop Board D925XECV2?

I inevitability a dual core processor. The motherboard stats say its not ment to run it but I dont want to own to buy a new motherboard.

As stated by Intel Support...

The Intel(R) Desktop Board D925XECV2 supports a single Intel(R) processor contained by an LGA775 socket.

So NO, you can't use a dual core processor with this board.

See if you know anyone that would resembling to buy this board as an upgrade to their older Pent 4 processor board...afterwards at least you won't be loosing too much money going to the duo core board.
