I can't hear any nouns through internet explorer or firefox. I can hear it through media player though. i've tried getting a contemporary sound card - didn't work. even dell couldn't amount it out- any suggestions??

My name is Rick and I am a Dell Customer Advocate. I am not sure what OS you are running but Vista have a separate audio control for most different apps. If you are running Vista have IE or Firefox unambiguous and go into your volume control and see if the volume is any low or muted for IE, I ran across impossible to tell apart issue when Vista decided to donate YouTube its own audio control and it was super soundless.

No monitor response next to clean Motherboard.?
I a short time ago got a current CPU Mobo Combo at Fry's so I know those two go together. The Ram be suggested by the clerk. So I know those go together. But I am still using my Graphics card, Hard Drive, Disk Drives, Power Supply. Yet when I boot up the modern motherboard, everything seems contained by working order, except I bring back no feed on my monitor. The power button a moment ago keeps blinking similar to when it's left on and the PC is turned bad and it's just unexploited. I've even purchased a new 500W PSU and that doesn't relieve. I can't think of anything else to do.

Ok, so I own been looking around on Newegg just now and have notice the dramatic price difference between the Retail and the OEM products. What are some advantages and disadvantages of buying OEM components over the retail ones. Also for people who own purchased the OEM products, have you have any issues with the functionality, or do not give the impression of being to last as long as the retail.

I reinstalled Windows ME on an outdated computer for my grandparents with a spanking new hard drive.
ethernet is still out of order
Opened up computer and got company Davicom and the model number DM9102AF.
Got correct driver direct from Davicom.
Device Manager say it is working fine but still need drivers for PCI Input Controller and PCI Multimedia Audio Device (sound card I suppose)
Start Internet Explorer and it say detecting proxy settings, after about 30 secs go to Page cannot be displayed.
Both cable and router work fine when plugged into my laptop.
Not sure what to do next.

I'm have a problem with my meet people adapter. It's Realtek RTL8110S/8169S gb Ethernet controller and a built-in on my motherboard. When i switch on my pc, this display will come up PXE-E61: Media testing failure, Check cable'. I've check through the internet what's PXE-61 is and it say there be something wrong with the cable, could be broken or discouraging. And it says to check or replace the cable. The problem is i didn't see any cable since it be built-in or it was me who didn't see it. Tell me what to do, i can sympathetic up the pc if that's what it take. Thanks..

First, check the device manager and manufacture sure your adapter is functioning properly. If so, take out the ethernet cable from the posterior and reverse the cable. If that does not work, try a new cable.

I newly bought a new computer... how within the world do I get my weak pictures onto the new one? My mature one is filled near viruses to, can those capture into my new one if my brand new one has Norton? Someone simply gave me an HP tower and i want to connect my matured Hard Drive to it. The tower has 2 drives surrounded by it already, but they connect to the computer in a route that i have never see before. It is connected to a chip near fairly small wires.

i hold lost all the CDs that come with my laptop when i bought it and most of my programs that i was gonna use , i vanished them on my disk , then my 3 antediluvian daughter decided to ornament them to make them pretty...lol.

ok the motherboard is ASUS model number A7N8X Rev 2.00 it have an onboard sound REALTEK ALC650 6 direct and I can not get it installed.
I can play mp3s and video files save on my PC but I can get any audio from sites such as youtube.
When I checked the audio output it say it is coming from the modem or something like that,... I reinstalled the drivers for the soundcard and it is still given up the ghost. I can listen to music from SIRIUS radio online player but I can not find any other website that will play streaming audio...

I only just updated the drivers for my gfx card and found out the monitor didn't support it and would not work. It would only work surrounded by safe mode, so i used undisruptive mode with network a few times. Now i bought a flat panel and it works normally again but my belkin wireless internet does not connect unless its surrounded by safe mode for some principle.

To be blunt, only a moron will enunciate the 8400 is the superior card. It's a crappy low-end OEM only chipset that cost smaller amount then $45 bucks. Just because it can support directx10, doesn't be determined it's better.

The 7600 is the far superior card in speed. And since in attendance are NO directx10 games, doesn't matter if a video card supports directx10 or not for immediately. Even if there be x10 games, the 8400,8500 and the 8600 series will NOT be fast ample to play those games anyway.

The 8400GS is superior, however the 8400 will guzzle the battery power much faster than the 7600 and it will produce more roast, which is very desperate in the tight confines of a notebook

To be blunt, only a moron will enunciate the 8400 is the superior card. It's a crappy low-end OEM only chipset that cost smaller amount then $45 bucks. Just because it can support directx10, doesn't be determined it's better.

The 7600 is the far superior card in speed. And since in attendance are NO directx10 games, doesn't matter if a video card supports directx10 or not for immediately. Even if there be x10 games, the 8400,8500 and the 8600 series will NOT be fast ample to play those games anyway.

So im using Vista business next to my new computer. I tried using both a wireless USB and a hardwired ps2 port optical mouse. Neither work. At first I suspected hardware malfunction, but BIOS shows the wireless USB mouse as a registered USB input device. However when moved the pointer will not move. (No im not using it on a flat black surface). Was wondering if there be a conflict in Vista near optical mice (Doubtful...) Or if there is a adjectives issue at the moment which someone might know about (More likely)

My m.soft wireless optical mouse and k.board?
also have a corded tray with 2little lights on it and this have only a usb connectivity

Your the ivories PS2 port seems to enjoy gone... so the best thing to do is dance and get yourself a USB baby grand, which will be better in the long run
Sorry, if you're have the same problem next to a new baby grand, then it's not the upright, it may be your connection to the computer. Check it by connecting to a different computer.
Your computer is a laptop or desktop? ps/2 or usb port? Have you tried connecting the the ivories to another computer to see if it works? Please share more details about your computer.

With those assumptions, though you enjoy the correct voltage, DC 9V you may not have the right polarity. Look at the baby grand connector, verify the polarities of the inner and outer connector.

I enjoy tired every thing from getting a latest floppy, new cable, changed the memory to the other slot, re-booted, re-checked the BIOS, and still nothing. The invention doesn't give support for this element and even went as far as maxim that floppy are a thing of times past, but still, I have much information on floppys. It's close to a catch 22. I do not undamagingly eject the hard disk and the problem occur even after I've tried several times to plug it in. The exact error message is USB Device not Recognized. One of the USB devices attached to this computer have malfunctioned, and Windows does not sanction it.
I'm using windows XP service pack 2 and my USB ports function properly.

If within is a small hole in the drive door, you can use a weekly clip to eject the tray.
your dvd driv may have a small hole surrounded by the front that an unbent paperclip can fit into, stick the paperclip contained by the hole and that should activate the emergency eject instrument
There should be a small hole on the front of it somewhere, try poking an item such as a paperclip (Bent out) into it and it should pop open so that you can verbs it open.

I own an External Hard Drive (Seagate 160GB), and I have locked my Documents so My brother and sister can't procure into them because I have loads of Coursework, etc surrounded by it. I see by the pathway you are using that you have Windows 200 or newer installed. First product sure the drive is using the NTFS file system and if convert it. To convert a FAT 32 file system to NTFS on any Win2K or newer Windows do this:

3.Hit the enter push button.
Once you have NTFS, find the folder you want to immobilize and right click on it, from the drop down menu select PROPERTIES. In the properties windows click the ADVANCED button and check the box that say ENCRYPT CONTENTS TO SECURE DATA.
I may prompt you to ask if it should encrypt just that folder or adjectives files and folders it contains, select all and hit OK. You are presently the only user that can undo or view these files.

I would bet that the pins do not file up correctly being that DDR2 is 240 pins and DDR is not
No because it can't button the frequencies DDR2 normally run at.
That shouldn't be possible since the pin configurations are different and the spacer is contained by a different location as well.
Check to gross sure you are actually trying to put contained by a DDR2 stick. If so then stop trying to bring in it fit into your DDR1 motherboard.
if might be they have given you a wrong bundle. possibly a ddr2 according to the package but instead its solely DDR.
Maybe miraculously it fitted on your DDR slot and if its working, then your DDR2 will lone work on the capabilities your DDR slot is giving.
Or I don`t know you are using a DDR2 to DDR converter. This converter plugs in a DIMM 240 pins slot for DDR2-SDRAM to install standard DDR-SDRAM near DIMM 140 pins.

What type of window are you trying to open--an Internet Explorer glass? You might have a pop-up blocker running contained by the background. Need profusely more info to help you specifically, but try turning sour your toolbars.

My computer restarted sooner or later when the power went out and ever since it's be really, really slow. If I minimize a window the entire entity starts freezing up. Songs and videos skip and, most of the time, they don't even play. Like I said, i've scan hundreds of times for viruses and spyware and nil came up. I've also cleaned out my acting internet files and the cookies. Nothing's working. I'd really appreciate some help.

Check the wall outlet first, cause sure it is working. Then make sure the power cable is safe and sound connected. Look at the fan surrounded by the power supply, if it isn't, the supply is dead. Turn your computer on, and look at the power LED, if it is lit your power supply is fine.

i guess you mean virtual memory :) You can any buy more RAM and permanently fix the issue or you can up the amount of virtual RAM or VRAM that your computer have available.
Here's how to do this.
Right click my computer and goto properties then goto the advanced tab and click on the settings button beneath performance.. it should be the first one you see :)
Once you're in at hand then goto the advanced tab..
at the bottom of the pane click change
Click on cusom size
dedpending on how much space is available (it shows it just above where on earth it says custom size put within initial 2000 and in maximum 2500. This should fix your issue :)

Ok i a moment ago got this yesterday and i wanna know whats happen. Theres a pixel wide purple/pinkish strip down my screen splittin it into 1/3 and 2/3. Even though its 1 or 2 pixel wide-ranging its still gettin on my nerves when i play on games. Does any1 know why this happens on computer screen. yes you can run the faster ram surrounded by your system, but it might not be any faster than what you have, depends on the speed of strike that your motherboard supports. also if you mix speeds the ram will operate at the speed of the slowest stick or run into you have.

yes you can. DDR and DDR2 can both be used near any speed as long as it is equal to or greater than the standard. in other word if you want DDR2 PC4200 you need to buy that or one next to greater speed like a PC5300. manufacture sure you install DDR2 and not DDR1.

Ok, I'm assuming that what you indicate is your video card isnt displaying properly? If that is the armour then you may want to reinstall the drivers and see if that help, also try setting the GRAPHICS settings for your game you are trying to play. If that doesnt work next you may need to buy a hot video card.

it freezes when its stand still for some reason... i built it myself ... the motherboard on the computer is incredibly cheap i suspect it its an ECS motherboard... when it freezes theres no blue eyeshade or anything, no movement of the mouse, and it dosent access the HD or anything ctrl alt del dosent work nothing i lately have to reset it to bring it working again... any ideas?
