I want to repute my PC but within is a folder with abundantly of important stuff and i don't want that to be delete. I tried puttinging it in a disc but the folder is too big. Is within a way to accumulate it in the hardware so it never get deleted?
Is in attendance a course to salvage a folder to the computer forever?
If you're merely tuning the computer on and off (rebooting) later your files will be just fine. Your computer is made to withstand this, and you're supposed to turn it rotten when you're not using it to save electricity.
If you are in actuality planning to wipe the hard drive and re-install the operating system (like Windows) later yes, you need to backup everything on an external drive.
They aren't that expensive, so I'd truly suggest backing your system up anyways a moment ago in covering it crashes in the adjectives.
I'm afraid that your computer is not 100% gauranteed to be working all the time. So forever is out of the press. I would recommend you buying either a USB flash drive or an external drive so you can own a copy of that folder.
You'll have it for a long time... second single to forever
Back it up to an external USB drive. Have it on at least 2 drives at a time as you never know when (not if!) a drive will stir bad. ~
Also, I would set free it to some DVD+-Rs.
If you don't have a DVD burner nonetheless, get the Pioneer 112 (about $36.00) through http://www.pricewatch.com
I enjoy 5 external and 4 internal drives, and back things up every 2 weeks to different ones myself...
singular u should get put money on up from your data. write them on compact disc or DVD or upload them on Internet . on free Internet website such as 50megs.com . because CD or DVD I don`t know will be damaged.
