But i realise the topical mobo has a different cd-rom connector. So i granted to chg to using the old mobo(which i merely exchanged) to start up the pc.. But it didnt nouns at all. My PSU is running though. But it sounds similar to it keep restarting over and over again.can u guys recount me what went wrong. cuz i'm totally clueless immediately..
Last saturday, i bought a investigational mobo. Gigabyte AMD2 64 bit..Because my cpu cannot start up. Then when i get home
Check your power connections to be sure all of them are connected and be sure that you hold your CPU fan connected to the right post. It sounds similar to your MB is detecting a heating problem and is shutting it down to preserve from destroying the CPU.
Take it to a professional and have them look at it.
are you sure that the reset, power switch isn't jammed? if you find a jumper, same as you would put over the CMOS reset, and power it up and see if it still does it? take home sure that the graphics card is connected properly. or the motherboard maybe dudd, though i can't make clear to you from here, so i would try exchange it for a nice new one, and after and get a foreign CD drive, resembling a SATA one they always grant you the max transfer because sata out does IDE though save take it to a Pro agree to them have a look
